Every TACA Craft Fair invites the public to get up close and personal with the artists through the Demonstration Tent. Visitors to the Fairs can experience life in up to seven artist studio settings as professional artisians demonstrate their skills in such crafts as Gullah sweetgrass baskets, Chinese paper carving, weaving, clay sculpture, marquetry and animal figures crafted of jute. Patrons are afforded the opportunity to get an education in fine craft by talking to artists as they work, learning about the people, the processes and the materials involved in creating fine craft.
