Exhibitions

As part of its mission to increase public understanding and appreciation for craft, TACA sponsors a statewide juried exhibition, The Best of Tennessee Craft, every other year. Since 1966, this exhibition has served as a tool to showcase the variety and diversity of Tennessee fine craft.

A guest juror, one of a national reputation in the art world, curates the exhibition and selects exceptional works to receive cash awards that are donated by businesses and individuals to reward excellence in craftsmanship and design.

The next Best of Tennessee Craft exhibition is scheduled to be held in 2010 with museum curators from across the state serving on the planning committee.
